How can I access the Open Beta?
If you have a Steam account, you will be able to download the Open beta directly from the ASCENDANT Store Page by clicking “Join the Ascendant Playtest”
Or you can download the beta directly from ASCENDANT.COM.
Do I need a beta key or anything?
You won’t need a ‘key’. This is open to all, so just sign-up at ASCENDANT.COM or download and jump in from our Steam Store Page when the Beta opens up on Saturday August 3rd.
When will the Open Beta start & finish?
START: Sat August 3rd from 10am ET, USA (3pm BST, UK)
FINISH: Sun August 4th at 11.59pm (Midnight) ET, USA (5am BST, UK)

Note these specs are for beta only. We expect them to improve as we optimize the game.

What languages will the ASCENDANT.COM Open Beta support?
During the Open Beta, ASCENDANT.COM will support English only. We plan to localise the game in the near future.
How do I leave feedback?
We want to hear from you! After playing in the Open Beta, please leave us feedback here so we can make ASCENDANT.COM the best it can be.
Can I stream ASCENDANT.COM or make content for social media?
Go for it! If you want to stream on Twitch, this is the correct category to stream under.
What age rating is ASCENDANT.COM?
Official rating pending, but ASCENDANT.COM is for players 16 and over. We’re a sweary bunch.
Is ASCENDANT.COM coming to consoles?
We’re launching and polishing on PC, but yes, that’s the plan.
Does ASCENDANT.COM support controllers on PC?
Not yet. But it will.
What happens after Open Beta?
We may have more Beta tests, so keep an eye out for further information at ASCENDANT.COM. Don’t forget to wishlist!
Will ASCENDANT.COM be free-to-play?
No, we will be a pay-to-play game.
Will my account progress be saved after Open Beta?
Yes. That’s the plan. We aim to ensure that all progress achieved in the Open Beta will continue into the next stage of development.

Are the servers region locked?
No, you can play on EU servers from the US and vice versa. You may experience more lag if you play on servers that are further from your physical location.
